Corporate Conventions / Meetings
When the International Brotherhood of Teamsters brings 8,000 people together in Las Vegas for 4 days, RK Productions is there to provide all of the necessary production elements – and then some. Each year, RKP produces the 4-day plenary sessions which include nominations, elections, exhibitions, and even a Spouses Luncheon for over 2,000 people. In 2021, based on RKP’s success Producing the DNC, the IBT Convention became a virtual production. Anchored in Washington DC, the 3 Day Event was produced Live each day with 1,500 delegates participating via Live Feeds and apps that allowed them to view the presentation and link in live with comments and vote on resolutions.
In 2013, Target partnered with RK Productions to take the annual Target Fall National Meeting to a new level. Together, they flawlessly executed a show that highlighted each executive speaker and their messaging, in addition to producing television-worthy live performances by Target’s music partners Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, The Band Perry, and Luke Bryan.
Bolstered by the success of the 2013 meeting, Target asked RK Productions to partner on additional show elements for the 2014 Fall National Meeting, including brand-new scenic, lighting, and screens content design. The spirit of the 2014 Fall National Meeting took on special importance for Target following a transition to new corporate leadership, and the RK Productions team worked tirelessly to create and produce an inspiring meeting that stayed On Message, On Time, and On Budget. Jamie Foxx opened the show with a hilarious stand-up routine, followed by Target’s top executives’ moving and informative speeches. The meeting closed with an unforgettable live performance by Taylor Swift, and a jaw-dropping performance by Coldplay, which included lasers, pyro, and other special effects. After the show, CEO Brian Cornell was quoted as saying “Fourteen thousand people on their feet. It was a very special moment. Lots of fun,” he said. “I could have stayed up there all day.”
